About the artist

Eric Tan is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer currently based in Los Angeles. He grew up in San Diego, California on a steady diet of animated films, Star Wars action figures, and Marvel comics. At the age of 5, he watched Jungle Book for the first time in a theater and knew he wanted to work as an artist at .

Eric’s passion for art led him to attend the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where he majored in Graphic Design and Packaging. During his junior year of college, Eric was lucky enough to start working at Consumer Products where he designed packaging for Walt Records. He would then transition to creating art for product style guides which included Classics, Live Action, Walt Animation Studios, Pixar, and Lucasfilm properties.

Eric’s hobbies include woodworking, gardening, collecting tiki mugs, and taking long naps.
